What kind of Fool am I ?

THE FOOL

Without getting into the details of which deck(s) I am using, the common thread symbolism is guess what-common.

Typically we see a background with a full sun and mountain peaks. There is a dog or some animal, a cliff like area, the Fool person with a rose, a feather in cap and some sort of pole with a sack. Simple enough.

The dog is in the process of tripping up this Fool but you don't see that on the card. I don't see it as a warning at all. It is calculated. Dogs usually do that when they want attention or food, the Fool is looking away and in fact looking up at the sky pretending he doesn't see the dog when in fact he does. Really, what kind of Fool would steal and store the dog food in that sack. Pretty mean thing to do.

I'm guessing that the next step for the Fool is to fall down the cliff which is really never shown to any extent. For all we know there could be another ledge just like the one he is standing on a mere 3 feet away. So what is the big deal. It seems to me that the Fool has just come back from a skiing trip depicted by the mountain peaks. So if this guy can ski, he surely isn't going to fall off no cliff.

The feather in his cap is from the chicken supper he had the night before. Afterall, he had to catch the chicken and pluck it first. It is a reminder to the Fool that he can do anything he wants because in his sack is the knife he used to butcher the chicken. How gross! He could have just snapped it's neck like all the other chicken killers do.

So you see this Fool is no real Fool because he steals his dog's food just for fun and puts it in the sack along with the knife he used to kill the chicken the night before. Who knows what other tools of destruction are in that sack. So you are wondering about the rose in his hand. Well, most nasty people will shower you with a thing of beauty before they attack you verbally and in some cases physically. A rose -AWE- how sweet, to think that you are a chicken killer, I bet you used the same knife to splice of the rose off someone's rose bush. Did you notice there are no thorns on the rose. Pretty smart.

I wouldn't want to meet the Fool in a dark alley because he has his secret sack with all his goodies he needs to venture into the unknown. And besides that the pole could very well find itself on top of your head if you don't mind your own business.

Underneath all that fancy top he wears lies an armor proof vest to protect him from the bullets that come his way when he "steals" the wrong person's stuff. In fact all those circles you see are actual bullet holes from previous encounters.

When you draw the Fool as your one card daily draw, remember this:

In matters of romance/relationships- you better run like hell because the person you are involved with isn't as naive as they look.
If you are a man asking about the new woman in your life -don't hold your breathe on anything permanent because she will steal your heart and leave.
If you are a woman asking about a guy you just met-think again, he is hiding something from you and knows exactly what he is doing. Drop him as soon as possible because if you don't he will take your wallet when you are not looking.

In matters of business-you will have to get someone to steal your competitor's ideas and act as if you don't know anything about it. Don't forget to book your flight to where the sun shines all the time and have a great holiday because when you come back your competitor will bite your leg off.

In matters of career- if you wondering what field you should get it, you guessed it- a chicken farmer. If there are no opportunities for that, the next best thing -working in a pet store selling high quality dog food. Don't fret, if that doesn't pan out- try getting a job at a gardening center. Did someone say skiing instructor? God forbid a lifeguard at a posh resort!
